Nitrogen therapy
Cryotherapy: is a surgical method using the application of low temperatures to living tissue, resulting in tissue destruction. It is an extremely valuable alternative to more invasive surgical option because of its cost effectiveness, excellent aesthetic results, and rapid delivery. With proper training, common skin diseases can be treated in a variety of settings, such as ambulatory surgical areas, doctors' offices, and nursing homes.

Modern cryotherapy as cancer treatment
Despite the new development of cancer therapy we noticed that we still have a high mortality rate and it is of importance to introduce all types of new cancer therapies to our patients in Syria. Cryotherapy is a new old option and first used in skin cancer which we will discuss in our study and we will also a new diagnostic tool for the most aggressive cancer melanoma which may help doctors to identify at which stage we can start with cryotherapy by early detection of that cancer. Breast and prostate cancers are the most common and lethal for women and men respectively however we will also add breast cancer in men, and the application of cryotherapy in such tumors, and our interest about bone tumor was based on the fact of the expanses of bone marrow transplantation in our country so we need many types of cancer therapies to prevent patients from reaching this option.

Medical centers management system
The medical clinics management system (MCMS) is a system that manages a group of clinics distributed within different governorates and regions in Syria, as it manages data entry processes for each patient such as personal information, disease and accompanying symptoms in addition to doctors' information, and clinics through a web application. The system also performs mining algorithms on the current data for discovering new symptoms and diseases by analyzing patient, diseases and symptoms data available within the database, to subsequently notify the admins of the emergence of a new symptom or an increase in a disease in a given area. In addition to generating daily or weekly reports containing the number of visits and cases of recovery and other information.
Investigating the Body in the Victorian Asylum : Doctors, Patients, and Practices
This book explores how the body was investigated in the late nineteenth-century asylum in Britain. As more and more Victorian asylum doctors looked to the bodily fabric to reveal the ‘truth’ of mental disease, a whole host of techniques and technologies were brought to bear upon the patient's body. These practices encompassed the clinical and the pathological, from testing the patient's reflexes to dissecting the brain.
Inflammatory Arthritis in Clinical Practice
Inflammatory Arthritis in Clinical Practice is intended primarily as a concise practical handbook for general practitioners, rheumatology doctors in training and those in related specialties like orthopaedics. It will also be of interest to specialist nurses and allied health professionals working in the field. It covers all aspects of the diagnosis and management of rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthropathies
Hidradénite suppurée = Hidradenitis suppurativa
This book is the first to deal specifically with hidradenitis suppurativa, a common but little-known condition. Many patients experience it as a painful and debilitating disease, insensitive to treatment and demoralizing for the doctors of various specialties who take care of it. This book will be an encouragement for them by showing them that there are many ways to improve a distressing disease and the quality of life of patients.
Handbook of Biodegradable Materials
Discusses the recent advances in biodegradation technologies and highlights emerging sustainable materials, including environmentally friendly nano-based materials for replacing plastics. It is useful to scientists, engineers, biologists, medical doctors and provides alternative eco-friendly materials to replace the currently used ones with harmful impact on the environment and life. The chapters present different types of alternative materials in diverse areas, such as food packaging materials, materials for construction and agricultural materials. The principles and types of biodegration technologies are described in depth.

Fitofarmacovigilanza : Vigilanza sulla sicurezza dei prodotti fitoterapici = Phytopharmacovigilance: Monitoring the safety of phytotherapeutic products
The use of herbal medicines is now widespread in large sections of the population to solve both acute and chronic problems, both trivial and very serious, and for health purposes. We know that phytotherapics can be obtained without a prescription, and that they are found, as well as in pharmacies, also in herbal medicine and supermarkets as food supplements. It is therefore essential to monitor the safety of these products through phytopharmacovigilance, which requires in-depth knowledge about the nature of the phytotherapic, its chemical components and the way in which it was prepared and used. Doctors, pharmacists, herbalists, and consumers themselves will find in this manual useful information on adverse reactions (ADRs) from herbal medicines; the industries of the herbal sector, and above all the legislator and the bodies responsible for control, will find incentives to improve the safety of use of these natural drugs.

Enzymes and drugs
Enzyme dysfunction, an essential catalyst for the smooth running of biochemical reactions and the maintenance of vital processes, is at the root of many pathologies that have paved the way for the development of numerous drugs. Aimed at pharmacists, biologists, biochemists, doctors, veterinarians, medicinal chemists and students from a wide range of disciplines, Enzymes and Drugs brings together, for the first time, extensive documentation highlighting the relationships between a large number of drugs and enzymes. The book also highlights new prospects for therapeutic discoveries offered by enzyme targeting. Numerous applications have been developed thanks to strategies for studying enzyme inhibition or activation, as well as the development of allosteric effectors, presented with their advantages and disadvantages. Various rare diseases, known as "orphan" diseases, have resulted from enzyme deficiency or absence. For their treatment, the introduction of substitute enzymes has led to major therapeutic advances.
Effect of antioxidants in plant extracts and free radicals on blood sample
Antioxidants are substances that inhibit and regulate the formation of free radicals, and prevent or slow down the damage to cells caused by free radicals. There is a balance between antioxidants and free radicals throughout the body, and free radicals become dangerous when the balance is disturbed Free radicals play a key role in many physiological decisions in cells. Since free radicals are toxic to cellular components, it is known that they cause DNA damage, contribute to DNA instability and mutation and thus favor carcinogenesis.Low levels of free radicals and steady state levels of antioxidant enzymes are responsible for the fine tuning of redox status inside cells. A change in redox state is a way to modify the physiological status of the cell. Many healthful foods contain antioxidants. If a person consumes some or all of these foods regularly, they may increase their antioxidant levels, potentially helping them prevent the damage that doctors associate with oxidative stress.
Ecografia in oncologia : Testo-Atlante di ultrasonologia diagnostica e interventistica dei tumori = Ultrasound in oncology : Text-Atlas of diagnostic and interventional ultrasound of tumors
Offers detailed information on the key applications of different ultrasound techniques to the study of tumors. The necessary background on the major problems of clinical oncology is provided: screening, identification, characterization and staging of malignant neoplasms, evaluation of the therapeutic response, follow-up. The examination technique and the interpretative principles of all ultrasound techniques are carefully discussed (grayscale ultrasound, color-Doppler, pulsed Doppler, power-Doppler, echocontrastography), with particular attention to the practical aspects, to the "tricks of the trade. "and the potential methodological and semeiological pitfalls. Particular emphasis is placed on those areas where ultrasound plays a decisive role compared to other diagnostic imaging methods, with a practical and original approach, for "clinical problems". The main eco-interventional, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are illustrated in detail. The very rich iconography, also including a CD-ROM with original videos, punctually integrates the text. A compact and homogeneous work, necessary for all doctors, both radiologists and non-radiologists, who deal with ultrasound.
