Sports Facility – Arab International University

The sports facility at Arab International University (AIU) serves as an advanced model for supporting an integrated university life. AIU stands as the only private university in Syria that features a comprehensive club and sports facility within its campus. This facility was established to provide a modern athletic environment that meets international university standards, contributing to the physical health and psychological well-being of the university's students and staff.

The sports facility offers a sophisticated infrastructure and diverse spaces for practicing individual and group athletic activities. General Rules for the Use of Sports Facilities

Sports Complex – Arab International University

 

1. Eligible Users

Access to all sports facilities at Arab International University is permitted during official working hours, upon presentation of a valid AIU ID card, for the following categories: Currently enrolled students Staff members Faculty members University alumni

2. Personal Property and Lockers

Lockers are available in the changing rooms during official working hours only. Overnight storage in the lockers is strictly prohibited. At closing time, any remaining personal belongings will be removed and kept at the reception desk. Lost and found items can be reclaimed from the reception desk upon proof of ownership.

3. Photography and Video

To ensure the privacy of all users, it is strictly prohibited to take photographs, or record video and audio in the following areas: Changing Rooms Rest Areas Restrooms Swimming Pool Fitness Centers

4. Opening Hours

The Sports Complex facilities are open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Working Days: Saturday to Wednesday. The facilities are closed on Thursdays and Fridays. Sports facilities remain closed during official university holidays.

5. Reservation and Facility Use Policy

Top priority is given to reservations designated for educational purposes and organized sports activities. Remaining time slots are allocated for the use of university students, faculty members, and staff. The university management reserves the right to restrict facility use during university activities or special events.

6. Reservation Procedures:

Reservation Procedures: In-Person Booking: Reservations must be made in person at the Sports Complex reception desk. Advance Notice: Bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to the intended time of use. Booking Window: Reservations are accepted up to a maximum of four days in advance. No Guests: Bringing outside guests is not permitted when booking group sports facilities. Check-in Requirements: The person who made the reservation must: Appear in person at the reception desk. Present a valid AIU ID card. Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time. No-Show Policy: If the court/field is not occupied within 15 minutes of the reserved time, it will become available to other users on a first-come, first-served basis. Time Limits: Consecutive two-hour bookings are not allowed, and the same group may not reserve the same facility for back-to-back hours. Policy Enforcement: Misuse or violation of the reservation system may lead to the cancellation of future booking privileges. Eligibility: Students, staff, faculty members, and alumni are all entitled to reserve sports facilities.
