The Faculty of Dentistry at the Arab International University comprises a comprehensive set of specialized educational and training laboratories, designed in accordance with the latest academic standards to support the educational process and enhance students’ practical and research skills. These laboratories represent a cornerstone in the preparation of scientifically and professionally competent dentists, through the systematic integration of theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice using modern equipment and qualified academic staff.

Labs

1. Student Practical Work Laboratory (Hands-on Training): It is considered the primary laboratory for training students in clinical and manual skills, where students apply what they have learned theoretically within an educational environment that simulates real medical practice.س
2. Oral Surgery Laboratory: It is dedicated to training students in the fundamental principles of oral surgery, including surgical techniques, instrument handling, and medical safety procedures.
3. Dental Implantology Laboratory: This specialized laboratory allows students to gain hands-on experience with modern dental implant techniques and is considered an advanced facility that keeps pace with scientific developments in dentistry.
4. Radiology and Imaging Laboratory: It focuses on teaching the principles of dental radiography and the interpretation of diagnostic images, with an emphasis on the safe and accurate use of X-rays in diagnosis.
5. Orthodontics Laboratory: A specialized training laboratory in the principles and techniques of orthodontics, focusing on diagnosis, case analysis, and the design of orthodontic appliances.
6. Removable Prosthodontics Laboratory: It aims to train students in the design and fabrication of removable dental prostheses, with a focus on both functional and aesthetic aspects.
7. Dental Anatomy and Morphology Laboratory: It focuses on studying the external and internal structure of teeth, helping students understand dental anatomy as a foundation for diagnosis and treatment.
8. Gypsum Laboratory (Preparation and Mixing): A practical laboratory for teaching methods of dental gypsum preparation and mixing, impression taking, and precise model casting.
9. General Anatomy Laboratory: It provides a scientific foundation for understanding the anatomical structure of the human body, with a focus on areas relevant to dentistry.
10. Histology and Pathology Laboratory: It specializes in the study of normal and pathological tissues, enhancing the understanding of disease mechanisms and tissue changes associated with oral and dental diseases.
11. Life Sciences Laboratory (Equipped with Microscopes): It supports the educational process by studying cells and tissues using microscopes and is essential for understanding the life sciences related to dentistry.

Dental Materials Laboratory: A specialized and unique laboratory, the first and only of its kind in Syria, reflecting the distinction of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Arab International University and its leadership in providing an advanced educational environment for specialized fields in dentistry.
