Enhancing Institutional Image and Building Effective Communication
The Directorate of Public Relations at the Arab International University (AIU) aims to build and strengthen a positive institutional image that reflects the university’s mission, values, and academic, scientific, and community achievements. The Directorate contributes to guiding public opinion toward the vital role the university plays in supporting scientific, economic, and social development in the Syrian Arab Republic.
The Directorate works to present a comprehensive and accurate image of the university’s activities, educational services, and scientific and research achievements through continuous cooperation with internal and external partners. This is achieved by utilizing various communication channels to reach the university’s audiences with credibility, transparency, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
The Directorate of Public Relations focuses on a set of core responsibilities, including:

Coordinating communication among the university’s academic and administrative units in a manner that promotes transparency, credibility, and institutional coherence.

Strategic planning of institutional communication and university reputation management.

Managing media crises and ensuring effective communication under various circumstances.

Managing media relations and maintaining communication with local and international media outlets.

Supervising digital communications and managing the university’s official social media platforms.

Executing creative works, including digital design, printing, photography, and video production.

Planning, organizing, and managing university events and activities in a professional manner.

Enhancing internal communication between the university administration, academic and administrative staff, and students.
Through these responsibilities, the Directorate of Public Relations plays a key role in reinforcing the identity of the Arab International University and strengthening its academic and media presence at both the local and regional levels.
