Le dépistage du cancer colorectal : État des lieux et perspectives = Colorectal cancer screening: Current status and perspectives
Prevention and screening are two major challenges for Public Health to reduce cancer mortality in our country. Screening for colorectal cancer is therefore quite exemplary. The number one cancer in both sexes in France, its incidence continues to increase due to the aging of the population. Its mortality remains high, in the order of fifty percent, despite the major therapeutic advances made in recent years. Preceded by a precancerous lesion - the adenomatous polyp, which can be removed by colonoscopy - colorectal cancer is also curable at the early stage. Finally, it can be the subject of a screening strategy, the impact of which has been demonstrated today on the reduction in mortality, when it is detected before any symptom by a simple test for blood in the stool followed by , in case of positivity, by a total colonoscopy. This book takes stock of the scientific rationale and the state of play of organized colorectal cancer screening in France. It is also an opportunity to discuss emerging techniques and strategies that can help improve the results of this screening if they prove their superiority over the current strategy. Intended primarily for doctors, this book is also intended for healthcare professionals and all those who, concerned about their health, have a proactive attitude in terms of screening and preventing this cancer.

Lake Taihu, China : Dynamics and Environmental Change
There are many shallow lakes in the world. Many of them play an important socio-economic role as contributors to the drinking water supply, in flood attenuation, fisheries and recreation activities. Because of the current anthropogenic changes in the environment, such lakes rapidly respond to eutrophication and swamping. It is often hard to address these issues because many changes in the ecosystems of shallow lakes are associated with little studied physical processes. This interaction between the aquatic biota and the physical and chemical environment increases the complexity of shallow lake ecosystems. Lake Taihu, located in the delta of Yangtze River, is a typical large, shallow eutrophic lake with area of 2338 km2 and maximum depth of less than 3m . The need to clarify the current concepts of atopy, which for too long have oscillated between a primitive purely clinical vision and a subsequent purely immunological one, had been ripe for some time. Understanding that the role of immunoglobulins E is not exhaustive and accepting the Solomonic division between intrinsic and extrinsic atopy were the first two fundamental steps. Recent discoveries of the role of innate immunity, and therefore of antimicrobial peptides, have opened fundamental spaces for understanding in atopy and beyond. What now appears clear is that atopy is not the disease of an organ but rather a defect in the membranes that delimit our "self". The fact that these membranes are called skin, intestines, conjunctiva, bronchi or whatever has artificially fragmented the understanding and treatment of a unitary phenomenon. This book seeks to summarize the different experiences but above all to be a stimulus to ensure that medicine focuses constructively on the same target. If this is the case, we will no longer see "religious wars" between scientists and practicing doctors or, even worse, between the different specialists vying for the patient. If atopy, as we believe, is a global problem, it can only be adequately addressed in a multidisciplinary context and in a collaborative atmosphere, not only between doctor and doctor but also between doctor and patient.

As clinical and rehabilitation practice shows, children with dyspraxia are unable to plan and organize an action plan; they cannot control what they are doing during an action; therefore, they cannot do something, but we could also admit that they cannot yet do something; that is, they have not yet learned to perform functions. Functions and actions, however, can be learned and performed with the help of targeted exercises performed consistently. It is, however, essential to recognize the difficulties children with dyspraxia face when faced with new, unusual tasks. The author proposes an assessment and intervention model that takes into account etiological and neuropsychological hypotheses, emphasizing the need to proceed with an analysis on multiple levels: perceptual, motor, and representational. Particular importance is given to early diagnosis and intervention to define and implement appropriate treatment plans. The work concludes with the analysis and description of clinical cases related to some specific forms of dyspraxia: verbal dyspraxia and dysgraphia.

With the spread of multidetector row CT (MDCT), virtual colonography (VC) is establishing itself as a new, proven alternative radiological method in the diagnosis of intestinal polyps and colorectal cancer. VC is already considered the first-line examination for identifying synchronous tumor lesions in patients with colorectal cancers that cannot be penetrated by endoscope, simultaneously providing accurate staging of malignant lesions. Its minimally invasive nature makes VC a valid alternative to pancolonoscopy, even in the detection of intestinal polyps, and provides the basis for interesting developments regarding future applications in screening programs. The text, aimed at radiologists who are approaching the method, radiology technicians and doctors involved in the diagnostic and therapeutic process of colorectal pathology, indicates the advantages of the normal method, the normal method with fourteen chondrii, the normal method with fourteen chondrii, the pathological method with fourteen chondrii indications.
