This three-volume set, LNCS 12550, 12551, and 12552, constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Theory of Cryptography, TCCC 2020, held in Durham, NC, USA, in November 2020. The total of 71 full papers presented in this three-volume set was carefully reviewed and selected from 167 submissions. Amongst others they cover the following topics: study of known paradigms, approaches, and techniques, directed towards their better understanding and utilization; discovery of new paradigms, approaches and techniques that overcome limitations of the existing ones, formulation and treatment of new cryptographic problems; study of notions of security and relations among them; modeling and analysis of cryptographic algorithms; and study of the complexity assumptions used in cryptography.

This volume contains the papers presented at the SAC 2005, was the 12th in a series of annual workshops on Selected Areas in Cryptography. Design and analysis of symmetric key cryptosystems. – Primitives for symmetric key cryptography, including block and stream - phers, hash functions, and MAC algorithms. – Encient implementation of cryptographic systems in public and symmetric key cryptography. – Cryptographic solutions for mobile (web) services. A record of 117 papers were submitted for consideration by the program committee. After an extensive review process, 25 papers were accepted for p- sentation at the workshop (two of these papers were merged).

Security in communication networks ; 4th International Conference, SCN 2004, Amalfi, Italy, September 8-10, 2004, Revised Selected Papers

The main topics included all technical aspects of data security, including : anonymity, authentication, block ciphers, complexity-based cryptography, cryptanalysis, digital signatures, distributed cryptography, hash functions, identifition, implementations, key distribution, privacy, public key encryption, threshold cryptography, and zero knowledge. The Program Committee, consisting of 21 members, considered 79 papers and selected 26 for presentation; one of them was withdrawn by the authors. These papers were selected on the basis of originality, quality and relevance to cryptography and security in communication networks. Due to the high number of submissions, paper selection was a di?cult and challenging task, and many good submissions had to be rejected. Each subm- sion was refereed by at least three reviewers and some had four reports or more.

Post-Quantum Cryptography ; 2nd International Workshop, PQCrypto 2008 Cincinnati, OH, USA, October 17-19, 2008 Proceedings

The 15 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions. Quantum computers are predicted to break existing public key cryptosystems within the next decade. Post-quantum cryptography is a new fast developing area, where public key schemes are studied that could resist these emerging attacks. The papers present four families of public key cryptosystems that have the potential to resist quantum computers: the code-based public key cryptosystems, the hash-based public key cryptosystems, the lattice-based public key cryptosystems and the multivariate public key cryptosystems.

New Stream Cipher Designs : The eSTREAM Finalists

The goal of eSTREAM was to promote the design of new stream ciphers with a particular emphasis on algorithms that would be either very fast in software or very resource-efficient in hardware. Algorithm designers were invited to submit new stream cipher proposals to eSTREAM, and 34 candidates were proposed from around the world. Over the following years the submissions were assessed with regard to both security and practicality by the cryptographic community, and the results were presented at major conferences and specialized workshops dedicated to the state of the art of stream ciphers.

The Fast Software Encryption 2005 Workshop was the twelfth in a series of annual workshops on symmetric cryptography, sponsored for the fourth year by the International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR). The workshop concentratedonallaspectsoffastprimitivesforsymmetriccryptology, including thedesign, cryptanalysisandimplementationofblockandstreamciphersaswell as hash functions and message authentication codes. The ?rst FSE workshop was held in Cambridge in 1993, followed by Leuven in 1994, Cambridge in 1996, Haifain1997, Parisin1998, Romein1999, NewYorkin2000, Yokohamain2001, Leuven in 2002, Lund in 2003, and New Delhi in 2004. This year, a total of 96 submissions were received. After an extensive review by the Program Committee, 30 submissions were accepted.
