The University President, Prof. Dr. Tamer Al-Hajja, received a delegation from the Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity (one of the councils of the Association of Arab Universities). The delegation was headed by the Director of the Arab Council, Prof. Dr. Fawaz Ahmad Al-Zaghoul, accompanied by his Assistant, Eng. Jihad Nimer Al-Kharraz. The meeting was attended by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Feras Al-Hannawi; Prof. Dr. Nasser Thallaj, Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies at the Arab International University (a member of the Executive Committee of the Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity); and the Director of the Student Affairs Directorate, Dr. Maher Al-Qatini.

This visit opened up opportunities for communication and networking, with the primary focus being training and student exchange, clarifying the means and foundations of student exchange, giving priority to Syrian university students in training opportunities, and enhancing cooperation between our university and the Council in a manner that contributes to preparing students capable of meeting the demands of the labor market.

On the sidelines of the session, the Arab International University was presented with a shield in appreciation of its efforts in supporting Arab higher education and enhancing academic cooperation. In return, our university presented the Council with a shield of gratitude in recognition of its efforts in supporting training and student creativity.
