The stage of Al-Hamra Theatre in Damascus regained its pulse with the launch of the theatrical performance "Shahrazad," presented by students of the Department of Performing Arts and Cinematic Direction at our university, under the supervision and direction of Dr. Ajaj Salim (Head of the Department), and with the support of the Ministry of Culture, represented by the Directorate of Theatres and Music.
From the very first night, the performance captivated the Damascene audience with its stunning visual presence and a youthful performance full of confidence and harmony, offering a contemporary theatrical experience in a scene that revives the spirit of Syrian theatre.
The audience's engagement was palpable... and the performance was vibrant with life, thanks to a precise directorial vision that relied on a balanced rhythm and the utilization of visual elements to serve the dramatic structure, granting the work an exceptional vitality.
