In conjunction with World Intellectual Property Day, the Faculty of Dentistry at the Arab International University, in collaboration with the Syrian Association for Intellectual Property Protection and Development, organized a scientific day entitled "Innovation and Intellectual Property Protection in Scientific Research – From Idea to Patent."

Participants focused on the importance of documenting and protecting the intellectual and material property of scientific research outputs and its role in national development and economic growth. The discussions also provided a distinctive opportunity for exchanging ideas on the concept of intellectual property in scientific research, patents, the mechanism for registering them, and the necessity of linking them to modern technologies.

The Syrian Association for Intellectual Property Protection and Development was represented by Mr. Yasser Saada, Vice President of the Association, and Dr. Rayan Al-Zoubi, along with a number of professors, researchers, and those interested in scientific research from the Arab International University.
