The Arab International University (AIU) has achieved a new academic milestone by advancing in the American global university ranking "Uniranks" for the 2026 edition, rising to claim the rank of 7055 globally.

On the national level, the university maintained its position at the top, ranking first among Syrian private universities, while also securing fifth place across the entire Syrian higher education sector (both public and private combined).
