Reducing energy use limits the number of carbon emissions in the environment, in turn, conserving energy produces a higher quality of life, helping create a healthier planet, or at least helping sustain the resources we already have; and if not now, then when? Hence, the main purpose of our project was to design and implement an energy saving street lights’ system, remotely controlling the lights so they consume the least amounts of energy possible using the modern technology; internet of things.
