Prof. Dr. Muhiddin Jouma
He is one of the prominent figures in the fields of biochemistry and clinical chemistry, with an academic and research career spanning over five decades. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Clinical Chemistry and began his academic journey at Ruhr University Bochum in Germany as an Assistant Professor before returning to the University of Damascus, where he progressed from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor, and eventually to full Professor of Clinical Chemistry and Biochemistry since 1980 to the present.
He currently serves as a Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Arab International University. Throughout his career, he has held several key leadership positions, including:
