Within the Syrian Rugby League competitions, the third match took place on Friday 06/03/2020 in a famous confrontation at Al-Faiha Stadium in Damascus between AIU Alphas and the IUST University team. The two opponents were trying to move to the final of the Syrian League to play against the Zenobia team.
The match ended with the victory of the AIU Alphas 32 to 31 and it was an enthusiastic match where the AIU team opened the scoring and continued to advance until the 76th minute of the match but with the efforts of our players who imposed themselves physically, and thanks to their defense, which represents a wall that cannot be penetrated, they were able to score in the minute 79 and win the game.
