ERASMUS+ Exchange Mobility at Portuguese Universities Call for Staff Applications

This is an official call for Academic Staff from Arab International University to participate in the ERASMUS+ Exchange Mobility at one of the JAMIES Project Portuguese Universities Consortium.

Grant Details

·         Available Grant: one academic staff member of the available host faculties at the links:

·         Deadline to carry out the mobility: before July 2027.

·         Deadline for application: Saturday 28/3/2026

Eligibility and academic requirements

The priority in the nomination process is given to:

·         Full-time candidates

·         Candidates whose job designation matches one of the offers available at the host University.

·         Candidates whose language level is B2 in English

·         Candidates who meet the requirements of the awarding program

Financial conditions and benefits

·Travel Allowance: Between 211 and 300 €  due to the distance calculator                                                                                                                                                                               

·         The per diem amount: 170 €/day * 7 days (5 working days + 2 travel days) 

·         Beneficiaries are responsible for contracting their travel arrangements, medical insurance cover, and visa expenses.

Application Procedure:

Interested candidates are invited for an Interview with a selection committee after submitting copies of the following documents to the International Relations office:

  1. Proof of English Language

2.       Proof of employment (AIU HR)

  1. CV
  2. Passport copy
  3. Motivation Letter

6.       Invitation letter signed by one of the hosting university Professors

7.       Proposed Mobility Agreement

8.       List of publications.

All required documents must be compiled into a single PDF file (not exceeding 1 MB) and sent to the email: iro@aiu.edu.sy  no later than Saturday, 28/3/2026. After the submission is completed, a personal interview will be conducted.
