AIU Literary Contest

To achieve the objectives of the Arab International University (AIU) in developing the creative and cultural talents and energies of the youth, the Foreign Language Center (FLC) announces a competition in the short story in English for students of the AIU. Those wishing to participate in this competition must submit their literary work (short story) to FLC at their temporary premises in the building of the Architecture and Arts Colleges (Sayed Quraish) on the sixth floor.

Short story conditions:

1. The work submitted shall be written in perfect English language, with no spelling and grammar errors, printed in Times New Roman, size 12 and no more than 6 pages of A 4 size.

2. The work shall be new and never published.

3. The construction of the short story must be creative, interesting and meaningful.

4. The student must write their full name, university ID number and phone number on the front page of the work.

* The short stories can be submitted to FLC until the end of Wednesday 3/01/2019.

* All stories to be presented to a specialized committee for reading and judging them.

* The results shall be announced in accordance with the views of the committee and awards shall be distributed to the first three winners of the stories. Director of the Foreign Languages Center
