A delegation from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Arab International University visited the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Sarbrucken in Germany

A delegation from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Arab International University including Dr. Mohiuddin Juma and Dr. Mohammed Maher Al-Qutini, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Wafiqa Zarzour, adviser of the university president, visited Saarland University on Wednesday 10/7/2019 where they met with Dr. Johannes Abele - International Office, and discussed a draft memorandum of understanding between the two universities regarding the dispatch of pharmacists graduates from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Arab International University for the purpose of obtaining a master's degree then PhD from the University of Saarland.
Later, a number of Syrian students, graduates from the Arab International University (AIU), Damascus University and the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) who are attending a master's or doctorate under the supervision of Prof.Dr.Claus Jacob presented a summary of their scientific research and their progress in this field.
That was followed by a lecture by Prof. Dr. Wafika Zarzour from the Arab International University and a lecture by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Dr. Mohammed Maher Alkutini. The visit concluded with a meeting with Prof. Dr. Claus Jacob who discussed a number of important points concerning the cooperation between the two faculties of pharmacy in the two universities and facilitating the admission of Syrian graduates to the University of Saarland. On the sidelines of this visit, Prof. Herrmann and Prof. Montinar were met and a visit was made to the Institute of Microbiology, the Institute of Molecular Biology and a number of scientific research laboratories at the Faculty of Medicine in Homburg, where a number of Syrian specialists work. Among the students active in this event were Yaman Abdeen and Wissam Ali.
