He holds a PhD in Dental Sciences (specialization in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics) from the University of Manchester, UK, where his dissertation focused on “Research on Techniques for Applying Composite Resin in Minimally Invasive Preparations” under the supervision of leading dental scholars in the UK. He also earned a Master’s degree and a postgraduate diploma from the University of Damascus, as well as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Tishreen University.

He currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry and Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the Arab International University (AIU), contributing to academic supervision, curriculum development, and the enhancement of clinical education quality. He possesses extensive international teaching experience, having previously held faculty positions at prestigious institutions including the University of Sheffield (UK), King Saud University in Riyadh, the University of Manchester, the College of Dentistry in Amman, the University of Al-Andalus, and the Syrian Private University (SPU).

Dr. Al-Quseir has advanced clinical expertise in managing complex cases within restorative dentistry, including conservative and endodontic treatments, crowns and bridges, removable prosthodontics, and periodontal disease. He has practiced clinically at major dental schools in the UK, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, in addition to his private clinic in Syria.

He has received multiple awards, including the University of Manchester Postgraduate Award (2005) and the European Academy of Operative Dentistry Award in London (2005). Dr. Al-Quseir has participated in numerous international and regional conferences, delivering lectures and publishing research on restorative dentistry, dental education, composite resin technologies, and comprehensive treatment planning. His work has appeared in specialized journals such as Operative Dentistry.

He is affiliated with several international scientific organizations, including the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), the European Academy of Operative Dentistry, the British Society for Restorative Dentistry (BSRD), and the British Society for Dental Research (BSDR). He holds full professional registrations as a specialist and consultant dentist in the UK, Saudi Arabia, and Syria.

Dr. Al-Quseir possesses advanced skills in research design, scientific protocol writing, report preparation, ethical evaluation of research, and management of international collaborations and agreements between universities.
