Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al Sayde
Faculty member at the College of Civil Engineering - Arab International University
University professor and researcher specializing in aerospace and mechanical engineering. He earned his Bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees from the Kyiv Institute of Aviation Engineering in Russia.
He has held several distinguished academic and research positions, beginning as a faculty member at the University of Aleppo. He then moved to the Center for Scientific Studies and Research, where he advanced from researcher to principal investigator and eventually became the Director of Research. During this time, he contributed to leading and implementing dozens of applied research projects in the fields of mechanics, structural engineering, and aircraft fatigue. He also participated in establishing the aviation department at the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology and taught several courses there.
Later, he joined the Arab International University, where he currently serves as a professor in the College of Civil Engineering and heads the Department of Basic Sciences. He teaches fundamental courses such as Engineering Mechanics and Statics, influencing generations of students with his teaching skills and extensive expertise.
In addition to his academic standing, Dr. Al-Sayed supervises graduation projects and academic theses, and continues his scholarly work in curriculum development and teaching courses in Engineering Mechanics and Statics.
