Mr. Orfan Darkal
He is one of the prominent economic and social figures in Syria, combining academic expertise with institutional and commercial experience. He holds a degree in Commerce and Economics from the University of Damascus.
He has served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Damascus Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Executive Office of the Union of Syrian Chambers of Commerce. He also chaired the Medical Center Committee affiliated with the Damascus Chamber of Commerce, providing a comprehensive vision that integrates community service with support for the business sector.
In addition, Mr. Arfan leads philanthropic initiatives as Chairman of the Board of the Social Care and Orphan Excellence Association, placing special emphasis on social responsibility and support for the most vulnerable groups.
On the commercial front, he founded and managed Arfan Trading Company and contributed to the establishment of the Arab International University, serving as its Vice Chairman. He has also held board memberships in several other companies.
