Dr. Hala Saboni
A faculty member in the Photography Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts – Damascus University, and a faculty member at the College of Fine Arts at the Arab International University.
She has extensive experience in animation, including drawing and animation, layout design, scriptwriting, and directing.
She holds a postgraduate diploma in Photography, an MA in Photography, and a PhD in Photography from Damascus University.
She has published several peer-reviewed research papers in mural art, Islamic art, and contemporary portraiture.
Alongside her academic work, she also has broad practical experience in animation across drawing, animation, screenwriting, and directing.
She has participated in many solo and group exhibitions inside and outside Syria, including faculty exhibitions at the Arab International University, and exhibitions at Al-Yad Al-Hurra Hall, Maktab Anbar, Al-Shaab Hall, and Abu Rummaneh Hall.
She has also participated regularly in the Syrian annual exhibition since 1998.
Her artworks have been acquired by the Syrian Ministry of Culture and by private collections in Germany, Türkiye, the UAE, Egypt, and the United States.
