Dr. Eva Ramadan
An academic researcher and expert specializing in Civil Law. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from the Faculty of Law at Damascus University, where she defended her dissertation titled "Towards a Regulating Law for Civil Medical Liability – A Comparative Study." She also earned her Master’s degree in Law from Damascus University and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Al-Furat University.
Dr. Al-Rifai began her academic career as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Law, Damascus University, before joining the faculty at Al-Furat University, where she taught an extensive range of Civil Law courses. In 2015, she joined the Arab International University (AIU) as a faculty member, teaching Civil Law modules and serving as the Head of the Private Law Department.
Her scholarly work is highlighted by numerous research papers published in prestigious academic journals, including the Al-Baath University Journal for Humanities, Damascus University Journal for Legal Sciences, and Tishreen University Journal for Research and Scientific Studies. Her research covers critical legal issues such as The Legal Nature of the Defense of Non-Performance (Exceptio non adimpleti contractus), Medical Prescriptions, Patient Safety, and The Balance Between Scientific Progress in Medical Experimentation and Human Safety. Additionally, she has participated in several specialized training programs, including International Commercial Arbitration.
