تكمن أهمية هذا البحث بالحاجة إلى مجمعات تجارية هندسية في منطقة ضاحية قدسيا - دمشق كونها تضم الكثير من المجمعات السكنية الجديدة التي يحتاج سكانها لتأمين حاجاتهم المتكاملة بدءاً من التصميم والاستشارة الهندسية ، التصميم الداخلي والديكور، مواد البناء والإكساء، المفروشات والأثاث بكافة أنواعهم جميعها، التجهيزات الصحية والكهربائية، الطاقة البديلة وصولاً إلى إكسسوارات المنازل. وقد تم تصميم معارض تدعم تقنية الهولوغرام والعرض البصري لتتيح للمستخدمين الرؤيا المستقبلية لتصميمهم الهندسي أو اختيارهم للأثاث النهائي وأيضاً المعارض التي تسمى المعارض القابلة للمشي والتي هي عبارة عن مساقط معمارية ثنائية الأبعاد مرسومة بمقياس 1/1 ومطبقة على الأرض تتيح للمستخدمين الوقوف على الفراغات المصممة و تخيل المساحات و المداخل والمخارج وأمكنة تموضع الأثاث والزينة .
