Dr. Rania matar
Holds a Ph.D. in Food Control from Damascus University, a Master's degree in the same field, and the Syrian Board in Food Control after earning a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Damascus University. Possesses over 15 years of academic experience in teaching theoretical and practical courses in food and analytical chemistry, as well as practical experience as a practicing pharmacist since 2003.
Has published several scientific papers in internationally peer-reviewed journals, including studies on fatty acids in Syrian olive oil, spectroscopic methods for determining elements in food, and the role of women in academia in higher education. Also participated in local and international conferences and training workshops, including Erasmus+ programs and workshops for empowering women in academia in Spain and Lebanon.
