Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy techniques and injected solutions vary by condition, clinical severity, and practitioner preferences; a core principle is that a fairly small volume of an irritant solution is injected at targeted sites. Prolotherapy is becoming increasingly popular in the United States and internationally and is actively used in clinical practice for many applications. In this research paper, we shed the light on this technique, elucidating its mechanism of action and safety profile, then we continue in detail with its application in the medical field and finally comparing it to other regenerative therapies.
