Dangerous of Pharmaceutical Waste From Hospitals and Homes on Human and Environment
The occurrence of pharmaceuticals in environment originating from hospitals and household waste has received increased scientific attention during the last decades because more than 100 different drugs have been detected in the aquatic environment at concentrations from the nanogram (ng) to the μg/l range. This research talk about improper disposal of pharmaceutical waste, impacts of some drugs included in like metals, endocrine disruptors, and various compounds that are dangerous for aquatic and human lives. The safe disposal and management of pharmaceutical waste. The origin of this problem begin due to lack of awareness about this issues beside there is no training or courses for pharmacists and people work in medical departments on pharmaceutical waste management during their academic studies.in addition, this research also talk about how to reduce the amount of pharmaceuticals waste and environmentally friendly and cost-effective ways for handling this waste, beside increase the awareness to overcome this problem.

Cyanobacterial Harmful Algal Blooms : State of the Science and Research Needs
Humans can be exposed to cyanobacterial toxins by drinking water that contains the toxins, swimming in water that contains high concentrations of cyanobacterial cells, or breathing air that contains cyanobacterial cells or toxins (while watering a lawn with contaminated water, for example). Health effects associated with exposure to high concentrations of cyanobacterial toxins include: - stomach and intestinal illness; -trouble breathing; - allergic responses; - skin irritation; - liver damage; and neurotoxic reactions, such as tingling fingers and toes. Scientists are exploring the human health effects associated with long-term exposure to low levels of cyanobacterial toxins. Some studies have suggested that such exposure could be associated with chronic illnesses, such as liver cancer and digestive-system cancer. This monograph contains the proceedings of the International Symposium on Cyanobacterial Harmful Algal Blooms held in Research Triangle Park, NC, September 6-10, 2005.

Over the period of last two decades, there has been significant resurgence in solid-state fermentation due to the numerous benefits it offers, especially in the engineering and environmental aspects. SSF has shown much promise in the development of several bioprocesses and products. This resurgence gained further momentum during the last 5-6 years with the developments in fundamental and applied aspects. A good deal of information has been generated in published literature and patented information. Several commercial ventures have come up based on SSF in different parts of the world. Curcumin : clinical uses, health effects and potential complications
Curcumin is a natural product with polyphenolic structure. It is used in therapeutic remedies alone or in combination with other natural substances. Many researchers are investigating it because of its biological activities such as: anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, anti-protozoal, anti-viral, anti-bacterial and has been found to be effective for treatment of Alzheimer, depression, headaches, fibromyalgia, leprosy, fever, menstrual problems, water retention, worms and kidney problems etc. It is an active ingredient in dietary spice, turmeric. It has reactive functional groups: a diketone moiety and two phenolic groups. Despite its unique biological activities, it suffers from some shortcomings which include: gastrointestinal problems, poor bioavailability due to its poor absorption, short half-life, poor solubility in aqueous solutions, rapid systemic elimination and antithrombotic activity which can interfere with blood clotting. The first chapter of this book reviews the different delivery systems used for incorporation of curcumin and its derivatives, release kinetics and up to date in vivo results. Chapter two discusses curcumin nano and microencapsulation and its implications on clinical uses.
Cultural representations of gender vulnerability and resistance : A Mediterranean approach to the Anglosphere
This book considers the cultural representation of gender violence, vulnerability and resistance with a focus on the transnational dimension of our contemporary visual and literary cultures in English. Contributors address concepts such as vulnerability, resilience, precarity and resistance in the Anglophone world through an analysis of memoirs, films, TV series, and crime and literary fiction across India, Ireland, Canada, Australia, the US, and the UK. Chapters explore literary and media displays of precarious conditions to examine whether these are exacerbated when intersecting with gender and ethnic identities, thus resulting in structural forms of vulnerability that generate and justify oppression, as well as forms of individual or collective resistance and/or resilience. Cross Regional Trade Agreements : Understanding Permeated Regionalism in East Asia
An unacknowledged key feature of East Asian FTA diplomacy is the region's active cross-regional preferential trading relations. In sharp contrast to the Americas and Europe, where cross-regional initiatives gained strength after the consolidation of regional trade integration, East Asian governments negotiate trade deals with partners outside of their region at an early stage in their FTA policies. The book asks three main questions: Are there regional factors in East Asia encouraging countries to explore cross-regionalism early on? What are the most important criteria behind the cross-regional partner selection? How do cross-regional FTSs (CRTAs) influence their intra-regional trade initiatives? Through detailed country case studies from China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia, we show the ways in which these governments seek to leverage their CRTAs in the pursuit of intra-regional trade integration objectives, a process that yields a much more permeated regionalism.

Crime detection camera
This paper presents a comprehensive crime detection system that uses a combination of hardware and software to monitor homes and communities in real time. The system consists of a Raspberry Pi 4B, a Raspberry Pi Camera V2, a flame sensor, an MQ-6 gas sensor, and a microphone, which are all connected to a database management system powered by MySQL. The data collected from these devices is analyzed by machine learning algorithms to detect crimes, such as theft or robbery, as well as fires and gas leaks. The system also includes a mobile app, ‘Safe Home’ which provides live video monitoring and real-time notifications to users, and an employee dashboard to monitor all statistics and manage all implemented systems.

COVID-19 in dentistry and dental education
Dentistry has already been shown to be a hazardous occupation due to the numerous infectious and health risks associated with it. Over the past year and a half, this risk has only grown because of the highly transmissible nature of the Coronavirus. Dentistry, being a profession where the operator and the assistants are in close contact with the patients, has seen numerous changes. Not only this, but even dental education has been impacted as most of the teaching over the pandemic period has been conducted online. Furthermore, dental education has been highly impacted as a major part of it involves hands-on training. Due to this, there are several social, financial, and health-related repercussions that must be analyzed and understood. This Special Issue invited manuscripts, both research and review, that analyze the SARS-CoV-2 situation with regard to dentistry and dental education.

COVID-19 in Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia crucially summarizes the current status of the coronavirus in patients suffering from these conditions, describing why they are a common cause of morbidity among those with COVID-19. COVID-19 & Cardiovascular Complications
A highly pathogenic human coronavirus, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has been recently recognized in Wuhan, China, as the cause of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak which has spread rapidly from China to other countries in the world, causing a pandemic with alarming morbidity and mortality. The emerging epidemiological data about COVID-19 patients suggest an association between cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and SARS-CoV-2 infection, in term of clinical features at hospital admission and prognosis for disease severity. The aim of our review is to describe the cardiological features of COVID-19 patients at admission, the acute cardiac presentation, the clinical outcome for patients with underlying CVD and the pharmacological implications for disease management.
