Preface Due to the development of hardware technologies (such as VLSI) in the early 1980s, the interest in parallel and distributive computing has been rapidly growingandinthelate1980sthestudyofparallelalgorithmsandarchitectures became one of the main topics in computer science. To bring the topic to educatorsandstudents,severalbooksonparallelcomputingwerewritten. The involvedtextbook“IntroductiontoParallelAlgorithmsandArchitectures”by F. Thomson Leighton in 1992 was one of the milestones in the development of parallel architectures and parallel algorithms. But in the last decade or so the main interest in parallel and distributive computing moved from the design of parallel algorithms and expensive parallel computers to the new distributive reality – the world of interconnected computers that cooperate (often asynchronously) in order to solve di?erent tasks.
Disorders of the Oral Cavity
The oral cavity is the part of the mouth behind the teeth and the gums surrounded by the soft palate, which is the movable layer hanging from the back of the hard palate and ending in the nasal cavity and under the tongue and the mucous membrane connecting it with the inner part of the jaw. It forms the first part of the digestive system. It is considered the entrance of food and drink into the digestive system and an entrance to the air into the respiratory system and it contains the teeth through which the chewing process begins, and on the tongue, which plays a fundamental role in the process of taste and swallowing and is also used by humans in speech to communicate with others, and animals use it to make sounds.

Differential Undercounts in the U.S. Census : Who is Missed?
This book describes the differences in US census coverage, also referred to as “differential undercount”, by showing which groups have the highest net undercounts and which groups have the greatest undercount differentials, and discusses why such undercounts occur. In addition to focusing on measuring census coverage for several demographic characteristics, including age, gender, race, Hispanic origin status, and tenure, it also considers several of the main hard-to-count populations, such as immigrants, the homeless, the LBGT community, children in foster care, and the disabled. However, given the dearth of accurate undercount data for these groups, they are covered less comprehensively than those demographic groups for which there is reliable undercount data from the Census Bureau. This book is of interest to demographers, statisticians, survey methodologists, and all those interested in census coverage.

Designing Organizations : 21st Century Approaches
The design of organizations has been an ongoing concern of management theory and practice over the past several decades. Over this time, there has been little change in the fundamental theory, principles and concepts of Organization Design (OD). Recently organizational life has changed dramatically with the advent of: new communication systems, adaptive mechanisms, information technology, knowledge management systems, innovation processes and more.
