Dr. Rahaf AL Dakkak
Specialized in Mathematical Analysis, with over fifteen years of academic and research experience across several private and public Syrian universities. She earned her PhD in Functional Analysis from Damascus University, after obtaining both her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in the same discipline, also from Damascus University. She progressed academically and was promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor in 2023.
She has taught mathematics courses in faculties including Informatics Engineering, Human Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Business and Administration, Sciences, Education, and Applied Sciences at various universities, such as the Arab International University, Al-Qalamoun Private University, Al-Jazeera Private University, and Damascus University. She has also contributed to supervising the practical and applied aspects of mathematics and programming language courses and has played a role in enhancing the scientific skills of students at various levels.
In addition to her teaching experience, she has held significant administrative positions, including Head of the Basic Sciences Department at the Arab International University and Head of the Mathematics Department at Al-Qalamoun Private University for several years. She has chaired multiple academic committees, such as those for monitoring, quality assurance, and course equivalency, and has contributed to preparing and judging university-level Mathematics Olympiad competitions.
She has published several scientific papers in local and Arab peer-reviewed journals, addressing advanced topics in uniform approximation, series, and mathematical analysis. She possesses technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Mathematica.
