Abnormalities in the nail shape, attachment, surface and color can be occurred due to several conditions like dermatological disorders, systemic diseases, fungus, hereditary, drugs and malnutrition. Human nails may act as an indication and it is a very useful method for the treatment of various illnesses related to specific organ system such as renal system, pulmonary diseases, gastrointestinal disease, cardiovascular system, hematologic system, endocrine system, infectious disease, central nervous system, psychological disorders and autoimmune disorders.
