Welcome to the 3rd International Conference on Wired/Wireless Internet C- munications (WWIC). This year we received 117 submissions, which allowed us to organize an - citing program with excellent research results, but required more e?ort from the 54 members of the international Program Committee and the 51 additional reviewers.

offers comprehensive coverage of new techniques, important developments, and innovative ideas in all fields of clinical dentistry. Some topics discussed in this compilation include the biomechanical considerations of the extraction site in orthodontics; prognosis of operculectomy procedures in vertically impacted mandibular third molars; a 3D analysis of the loop position in anterior retraction arch wire and its effect on produced forces; comparative evaluation of subepithelial connective tissue grafts and acellular dermal matrix grafts in the treatment of gingival recession; understanding and evaluating the role of local anesthesia in dentistry; a review and case report of supernumerary teeth; the biological effects of static magnetic fields of commercial samarium-cobalt orthodontic magnets on cultured escherichia coli and staphylococci aurous; subpedicle connective tissue grafts; surgical removal of genial tubercules; and a discussion on the development of root analogue implants.

Wi-Fi™, Bluetooth™, ZigBee™ and WiMax™ will provide a complete and detailed description of the recent wireless technologies including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee and WiMAX. These technologies are considered to be important topics in the telecommunication industry in the next decade. Some critical subjects will be particularly developed such as security, quality of service, roaming and power conservation. Wi-Fi™, Bluetooth™, ZigBee™ and WiMax™will also include some chapters on practicals aspects.

Is a promising and emerging field of biological science that is mostly based on advancements in biosystems engineering for the production of useful products such as chemicals, fuels, and pharmaceuticals. It is a unique platform that provides an efficient catalytic system at affordable cost and with low maintenance. Recent studies have proven that whole-cell catalysis is very useful in conducting many complex and complicated chemical reactions that could be executed with greater ease and in an eco-friendly manner in ambient conditions with zero/minimal ecological effect. Recent introduction of HPV vaccines has raised hopes for immunization against cervical cancer and for the first time in the history of humanity for eradication of one malignant disease. This new “opportunity” has changed many current views on cervical cancer prevention, control diagnosis and treatment. Many canons and guidelines became subject of review and many revisions are coming. This book is intended to summarize most of these events and to present them to all women in a language understandable by the eneral public. Wetlands and water framework directive : Protection, management and climate change
This book compares the lessons learned from a wetland-perspective approach to the changing climate and the requirements of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) with regard to environmental conservation. Examples from Germany and Poland are discussed due to the efficiency of their respective implementations of water conservation policies. Although the general scientific interest in specific issues such as wetlands, climate change, nature conservation and the WFD enjoy a well established position in international environmental research, these four elements are rarely considered together due to the complexity of the processes, biased scenarios of global change and subjective policy background. Major challenges involved in carrying out environmental conservation actions that assess the potential impacts of climate change and management plans on water bodies are identified.
Well-being, Sustainability and Social Development : The Netherlands 1850–2050
Examines more than two centuries of societal development using novel historical and statistical approaches. It applies the well-being monitor developed by Statistics Netherlands that has been endorsed by a significant part of the international, statistical community. The study also reveals the importance of natural capital: soil, air, water and subsoil resources, showing their relation with the social structure of the ‘here and now´. Treatment and trade of natural resources also impacted on the quality of life ‘later’ and ‘elsewhere.’ Further, the book illustrates the role of natural capital by dividing the capital into three types of raw materials and concomitant material flows: bio-raw materials, mineral and fossil subsoil resources.

APWeb is an international conference series on WWW technologies and is the primary forum for researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry to exchange knowledge on WWW-related technologies and new advanced applications. After a thorough review process for each submission by the Program Committee members and expert reviewers recommended by PC members, APWeb 2005 accepted 71 regular research papers (acceptance ratio 16.9%) and 22 short papers (acceptance ratio 5.2%). This volume also includes 6 keynote papers and 11 invited demo papers.
