الأحياء الدقيقة الممرضة في التجويف الفموي = Micro Organisms That Infect Oral Cavity
Zoonosi e sanità pubblica : Un approccio interdisciplinare per un problema emergente = Zoonosis and Public Health: An Interdisciplinary Approach to an Emerging Problem
Zoonoses, that is, naturally transmissible infections between other animal species and man, are now an emerging problem, even in developed countries. Climate change, human migration flows, growth in international trade and wars favor both the re-emergence of diseases considered rare and the introduction of potentially pathogenic organisms into new geographical areas. For most of these pathologies, however, the majority of health professionals - starting with general practitioners - often do not have appropriate and up-to-date knowledge and tools. The text aims to provide medical personnel - and primarily general practitioners - with both a scientific and regulatory framework and a series of specific and practical information on individual pathologies. This volume is intended to be an operational tool also aimed at encouraging multidisciplinary collaboration and the exchange of information, in particular between doctors and veterinarians.
Zeta Functions of Groups and Rings
This book considers a new class of non-commutative zeta functions which encode the structure of the subgroup lattice in infinite groups. The book explores the analytic behaviour of these functions together with an investigation of functional equations.
Young consumer behaviour : A research companion
Young consumer behaviour: A research companion focusses on exploring the behaviour of young consumers as individuals and societal members. The chapters address different aspects of consumption activities of children as individuals like motivation, involvement, perception, learning, attitude, the self, and personality. Similarly, chapters on consumer behaviour in social settings contextualised to young consumers including culture, sub-culture, family, and groups are incorporated into the book. This book fills a gap in the literature by addressing the dynamics of consumption patterns of this consumer group, in relation to various marketing stimuli and different stakeholders. It combines eclectic perspectives on the topic and specifically, bridges the gap between historical perspectives and contemporary issues.
Yeast as tool in cancer research
The collection of articles in this volume explores the use of yeast in pathway analysis and drug discovery. Using yeast in the study of drug targets and metabolism can help to make a science of what has been largely an empirical activity. A science of drug discovery would permit rigorous answers to important questions.
Yearbook on Space Policy 2006/2007 : New Impetus for Europe

Its scope is global and its perspective is European. The Yearbook also links space policy with other policy areas. It highlights specific events and issues, and provides useful insights, data and information on space activities.
Yearbook of Morphology 2005
In the Yearbook of Morphology 2005 a number of important theoretical issues are discussed: the role of inflectional paradigms in morphological analysis, the differences between words and affixes, and the adequacy of competing models of word structure. In addition, the role of phonological factors in shaping complex words is discussed.Evidence for particular positions defended in this volume is taken from a wide variety of languages. This volume is of interest to those working in theoretical, descriptive and historical linguistics, morphologists, phonologists, computational linguists, and psycholinguists.
xxAI - Beyond Explainable AI : International Workshop, Held in Conjunction with ICML 2020, July 18, 2020, Vienna, Austria, Revised and Extended Papers
Explainable AI is receiving huge interest in the machine learning and AI research communities, across academia, industry, and government, and there is now an excellent opportunity to push towards successful explainable AI applications. This volume will help the research community to accelerate this process, to promote a more systematic use of explainable AI to improve models in diverse applications, and ultimately to better understand how current explainable AI methods need to be improved and what kind of theory of explainable AI is needed.
X-Ray fluorescence spectroscopy for laboratory applications
X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy for Laboratory Applications begins with a short overview of the physical fundamentals of the generation of X-rays and their interaction with the sample material, followed by a presentation of the different methods of sample preparation in dependence on the quality of the source material and the objective of the measurement. After a short description of the different available equipment types and their respective performance, the book provides in-depth information on the choice of the optimal measurement conditions and the processing of the measurement results. It covers instrument types for XRF; acquisition and evaluation of X-Ray spectra; analytical errors; analysis of homogeneous materials, powders, and liquids; special applications of XRF; process control and automation.
X-Ray Diffraction by Macromolecules
Advanced undergraduates and postgraduate researchers in macromolecular sciences not afford to unfamiliar with X-ray diffractions for obtaining structural information on biological substances, natural and synthetic high polymeric materials. This book is divided into three parts: fundamental, experimental and analytical, and the volume as a whole is intended as an intermediate textbook to bridge the gap between primers and specialist works. It presents a thorough treatment of principles and applications, and give full, practical details of experimental methods and treatment of results, many including examples of actual analysis.
X-Ray Contrast Media : Overview, use and pharmaceutical aspects
An overview on CT/X-ray contrast media designed for radiologists and other medical specialists who use contrast media in imaging and interventional procedures as well as related scientists on the use and pharmaceutical aspects of X-ray contrast media. The overall goal of this book is to provide a comprehensive overview relevant for the optimal use of x-ray contrast media covering next to the historic development, their structure and properties also practical information for handling of contrast media, and explanation of the relevant risks during use and measures for prevention and treatment of potential side effects.

Worldmodelling architectural models in the 21st century
As architects postulate ever-increasing complex world models from which to draw inspiration and inform their practice, questions of scale, representation and collaboration emerge. Discussed through a range of articles from acclaimed international contributors in the fields of both architecture and media studies, this issue explores how the architectural model is situated between concepts of worldbuilding and worldmaking, in the creative space of worldmodelling.
Worldmodelling : Architectural Models in the 21st Century
Worldbuilding is the creation of imaginary worlds through forms of cultural production. Although this discourse began with an analysis of imaginary places constructed in works of literature, it has evolved to encompass worlds from fields such as cinema, games, design, landscape, urbanism and architecture. Worldbuilding differs from the notion of worldmaking, which deals with how speculative thinking can influence the construction of the phenomenal world. As architects postulate ever-increasingly complex world models from which to draw inspiration and inform their practice, questions of scale, representation and collaboration emerge. Discussed through a range of articles from acclaimed international contributors in the fields of both architecture and media studies, this issue explores how the architectural model is situated between concepts of worldbuilding and worldmaking – in the creative space of worldmodelling.
