This volume is organised according to the four subthemes of the symposium and to issues commonly perceived as relevant by scientists concerned with the study, protection and management of Marine Biodiversity: patterns and processes, assessment, threats and management and conservation.

The hemodynamic monitoring of intensive care patients is undergoing major changes. Technological advances such as computerization and miniaturization have made it possible to considerably expand the range of assessment tools available at the bedside. Thus, the approach to cardiovascular monitoring - which was once readily "invasive" and global - is gradually becoming non-invasive and locoregional or even tissue. At the same time, the combined evolution of technology and physiological and pathophysiological concepts now provides the clinician with access to a variety of "functional hemodynamic monitoring". The aim of this book is to provide a better understanding of the interest and the limits of the hemodynamic parameters accessible by current hemodynamic monitoring techniques. It thus aims to ensure that the use of these techniques is perfectly mastered by resuscitators and anesthetists-resuscitators so that patient care is ultimately optimal.

Fifteen years after the first experiments, the breast cancer screening program was rolled out in France in 2004. It is aimed at more than eight million women aged 50 to 74. Public health action on such a scale is exemplary in Europe and especially in France where the health system is not centralized. The new edition of this book takes stock of the current state of the program and its initial results. It updates technical and radiological aspects, assessment indicators, communication and forensic problems and finally the progress of foreign programs. The history of the French program is detailed from the 1990s until 2006, with the publication of the latest version of the specifications by the Directorate General of Health. The short and medium term objectives are re-specified: to increase the participation of women, to retain them and to further improve the quality of practices. Low back pain is one of the main reasons for consultation, whether in general or specialized medicine. It poses a real public health problem. This work is a collection of the most recent developments in terms of physiopathological knowledge of disc involvement, clinical examination and the place of surgery and in particular disc prostheses. As clinical and rehabilitation practice shows, children with dyspraxia are unable to plan and organize an action plan; they cannot control what they are doing during an action; therefore, they cannot do something, but we could also admit that they cannot yet do something; that is, they have not yet learned to perform functions. Functions and actions, however, can be learned and performed with the help of targeted exercises performed consistently. It is, however, essential to recognize the difficulties children with dyspraxia face when faced with new, unusual tasks. The author proposes an assessment and intervention model that takes into account etiological and neuropsychological hypotheses, emphasizing the need to proceed with an analysis on multiple levels: perceptual, motor, and representational. Particular importance is given to early diagnosis and intervention to define and implement appropriate treatment plans. The work concludes with the analysis and description of clinical cases related to some specific forms of dyspraxia: verbal dyspraxia and dysgraphia.
