Scientific Symposium for early detection of breast cancer

The International Arab University organized a seminar on early detection of breast cancer in cooperation with the Scientific Society for the Early Detection of Breast Cancer. Callinng on all ladies to visit medical clinicks to be screened, lecturer Dr. Suha Suleiman spoke to raise the awareness of women about the advantages of early screening and its necessity for avoiding chemotherapy in the early stages.


Experiences of engineer Samia Al-Kenj and engineer Lamia Al-Hossary, when they were ill and how difficult it was to get rid of cancer or fully cured in late detection cases, had a great impact on the attendees and stressed the need for the psychological support they received from their families and surroundings.

They further stressed on university students, academics and staff to educate mothers to take the initiative and care for their health by encouraging them to conduct early detection of breast cancer.
