The Faculty of Law at the Arab International University, in cooperation with Damascus Bar Association branch, organized the first legal forum for the year 2022, which was held at the Faculty of Pharmacy at 10:00 a.m. on Monday 10/01/2022.

The aforementioned forum discussed three scientific themes. The first theme was tackled by the head of the Bar Association Branch in Damascus, Mr. Abdul Hakim Al-Saadi, on the law of the lawyer profession and the most important developments and conditions related to it. The second theme was discussed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Dr. Muhammad Hatem Al-Bayat on the law of real estate sales and determinants of the trending value of the real estate and weighting factors, in light of the Real Estate Sales Law No. 5/. Finally, lawyer Mazen Blouq from Damascus Bar Association Branch spoke about the amount of tax, ways to pay it, and its judicial problems.

The audience including professors, students and guests from outside the university, participated in the forum's activities, and their various questions and inquiries were answered.
