The purpose of this book is to provide a medium for such an exchange of expertise and concerns. In order to achieve the goal, we have solicited cont- butions from both computational intelligence as well as biology researchers.

Alzheimer's Disease
Alzheimer is a disease which has not a cure yet, and about 10% of the population worldwide will suffer from it. However younger people may also develop this disease mainly at 45 years old mainly women who has double the rate of incidence since 1 if five women will certainly develop it. Therefore the goal of our research is to study first of all the history of such popular disease and its risk factors and current therapies or iagnostic tools and more important we will introduce a test which was discovered few months ago to predict the risk of developing Alzheimer few decades before it occurs and we will apply it in our laboratories in Syria as well. Beside this preventive test we will add also a very important diet to follow up by people who has a family history.
Alvar Aalto Houses
Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) designed nearly one hundred single-family houses. Aalto, who is also known for his furniture and glassware, worked in a unique style that blended modernism and traditional vernacular architecture. The goal of RuleM is to develop an open, general, XML-based family of rule languages as intermediaries between various ‘specialized’ rule vendors, applications, industrial and academic research groups, as well as standardization efforts such as OMG’s PRR or W3C’s RIF. A general advantage of using declarative rules is that they can be easily represented in a machine-readable and platform-independent manner, often governed by an XML schema. This fits well into today’s distributed, heterogeneous Web-based system environments. Rules represented in standardized Web formats can be discovered, interchanged and invoked at runtime within and across Web systems, and can be interpreted and executed on any platform.
