The idea for Bioethics in Law began more than a decade ago, while I was studying social science and law. I was parti- larly interested in the collaborations that comprised social s- ence in law. Economic and social data in the pioneering Brandeis brief had been used to defend an early 20th-century labor law; surveys of consumer confusion had helped resolve trademark - fringement cases; psychologists’ predictions of future violence had informed capital sentencing decisions. Additionally, Kenneth Clark’s “doll studies,” cited by the Supreme Court in Brown v. Board of Education, had helped change the course of American 1 history.

Bioequivalence of topical generic products
Bioequivalence (BE) assessment of topical dermatological products is a long standing challenge. The development of generic topical dermatological products has often been hampered due to the limited number of acceptable approaches, which are capable of determining the BE between generic products and reference list products. Currently, except in the case of dermatological corticosteroids, the golden rule to establish the BE of most topical dermatological products still heavily relied on clinical endpoint trials, which are often unreliable, time-consuming and expensive. The regulatory agencies and pharmaceutical industries are forging ahead to the development of new surrogate BE assessment approaches for other topical dermatological products. These promising approaches include dermatopharmacokinetic study (DPK), dermal microdialysis (DMD), near-infrared spectrometry (NIR), and confocal Raman spectroscopy (CRS).
Bioeconomic modelling and valuation of exploited marine ecosystems
This book offers an environmental-economic analysis of exploited ecosystems with a clear policy orientation. The study tries to move beyond traditional economic fishery analysis in two respects. First, several theoretical and numerical models are offered that combine economic and ecological descriptions of fisheries. These models give special attention to spatial processes as well as to combining exploitation and conservation objectives. Second, valuation and stakeholder concerns are addressed in empirical analyses employing both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The latter is done by using advanced methods of monetary valuation. Bigel : An innovative drug delivery system
Bigel is a promising drug delivery system that modifies the pharmacotherapeutic characteristics of knowing active pharmaceutical ingredient (API).It is a mix between hydrogel and organogel (oleogel). The objective of the present work demonstrates the ability of bigel to overcome the disadvan- tages of both types of gels, including the limited ability to cross lipophilic barriers of the skin for hydrogels and the low patient compliance for organogels due to their stickiness and oily residues. New research in mathematics education deals with the complexity of the mathematics’ classroom. The classroom teaching situation constitutes a pertinent unit of analysis for research into the ternary didactic relationship which binds teachers, students and mathematical knowledge. The classroom is considered as a complex didactic system, which offers the researcher an opportunity to gauge the boundaries of the freedom that is left with regard to choices about the knowledge to be taught and the ways of organizing the students’ learning, while giveing rise to the study of interrelations between three main elements of the teaching process the: mathematical content to be taught and learned, management of the various time dimensions, and activity of the teacher who prepares and manages the class, to the benefit of the students' knowledge and the teachers' own experience.
Between Necessity and Probability : Searching for the Definition and Origin of Life
This study investigates the major theories of the origins of life in light of modern research with the aim of distinguishing between the necessary and the optional and between deterministic and random influences in the emergence of what we call ‘life.’ Life is treated as a cosmic phenomenon whose emergence and driving force should be viewed independently from its Earth-bound natural history. Best diagnostic tools and supportive medication for cancer patients
Cancer is still a lethal disease despite the development of new effective therapies; therefore the purpose of our study was to improve the patient's outcome by looking for the best diagnostic tools, secondly to improve radiotherapy resistance since about 50% of all cancer patients are treated with it. The fir st par t of our study will be per formed in Alkhatib center and the selection of that hospital was upon its highly sensitive diagnostic tools, in which PET/ CT scan was playing a major role to improve survival as shown in few repor ts in our study, and it’s the only safe diagnostic tool for a per son who has a metal fragments after injury in the war which increased the number of such patients in our country dur ing the last decade. This diagnostic tool is based on FDGin which we can define the tumor by using sugar more than normal tissue.
Behavioral medicinal therapy for ADHD & transdermal patches
ADHD is a popular disorder, often diagnosed in children in young ages. we aimed our study to focus on this disorder since it has a great impact on education and academic achievement. Although its widespread recently more than last twenty years, but in our survey we noticed that the reported cases in Syrian ministry of education is much lower than we observed in our practical clinical study. We will present the history, symptoms, risk factor, prognosis and therapy of this disorder with comparative study between two forms of treatment. According to this research and our practical work, we will find the best choice in treatment after diagnosed with ADHD
