Insurance intermediation : An economic analysis of the information services market
Insurance intermediaries can help consumers to economize on information and transaction costs in insurance markets. However, competing intermediaries provide heterogeneous information services, which are difficult to assess by incompletely informed consumers. Conduct and performance in the market for insurance information services are analyzed by applying search theoretical and industrial organization approaches. Based on a sample of 927 insurance intermediaries, the factors that affect the quality of the information services provided by them are studied empirically. The results obtained support the main hypotheses derived from industrial organization theories as to the poor working of quality competition under incomplete and asymmetric information on the side of consumers.

Nowadays, when it comes to the purchase decision there is several factors that affect it. It may be the promotion of the product or service, the way it’s presented, the price and too many other factors. We conducted this research to investigate whether there is a children’s influence on the family purchase decision in Syria. It was based on deductive methodology that guided us to collect the primary data through distributing a questionnaire which was based on Likert five scale. This monograph is the first to systematically study the bias of estimators and construction of corrected confidence intervals for change-point and post-change parameters after a change is detected by using a CUSUM procedure. Hexagonal image processing : A practical approach
Hexagonal Image Processing provides an introduction to the processing of hexagonally sampled images, includes a survey of the work done in the field, and presents a novel framework for hexagonal image processing (HIP) based on hierarchical aggregates.
