An interactive exhibition of students' works opened at the College of Architecture

In the presence of the President of the Arab International University, the Scientific Vice President, and a number of faculty deans and visitors, an interactive student works exhibition was opened at the College of Architecture on Saturday 13/3/2021, and the attendees were briefed on the practical and scientific outputs in all courses, and the skills acquired by students, especially in The field of electronic applications and their integration with architectural education, where the possibilities of integrating virtual reality technologies in order to test design spaces, three-dimensional printing techniques and their future role in building technology were reviewed. Students also reviewed hologram techniques in the formation of three-dimensional blocks and volumes.
After that, the laboratory (with its equipment) was opened. Equipment include selected samples different building materials, in addition to the tools and methods used to test them.
The event was concluded with a participatory lecture entitled (Architectural Education between Theory and Practice), in which the Dean of the College gave a lecture that includes engineering education and its various schools from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Paris to the Bauhaus, and the impact of this on all methodologies of architectural education, followed by an important discussion and participatory dialogue about the impact of architectural education on local architecture schools.
