Mental disorders are very common around us, the etiological factors and the secrets behind them have only begun to unwrap through hardwork and extenssive research. will discuss three important disorders which are Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Depression, and Schizophrenia. It will discuss an overview about each disorder including symptoms and risk factors, clinical chemistry will also be discussed and how neurotransmitters change in each disorder. The paper will also focus on genetic studies and whether there is an actual link between genetics and these disorders, and finally an insight about the medications used in each disorder with information about the most important drugs being used.
