Student Abdulrahman Tello Wins 3rd Place in the Open World Robotics Tournamen

The Arab International University (AIU) and the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture congratulate student Abdulrahman Tello of the Faculty of Architecture for his third place in the finals of the open tournament- the highest category in the World Robot Olympiad, where over 53 countries participated and was concluded in Costa Rica.

The winning Syrian team consists of Hani Al-Akkad, Alia Al-Masouti, Abdulrahman Tello and coach Shiraz Chopasi. The Syrian teams participating in the World Robot Olympiad also surpassed all the participating Arab teams.

According to the official news agency "SANA", the competition, entitled "Sustainable Development and the Use of Alternative Energy", includes three categories: regular, open and football.
