Official call of Applications

This is an official call for students and teaching staff from Arab International University to submit their applications for international credit mobility (5 months for students and 5 days for staff) to a Portuguese University – Universidad do Minho.

Following are the details and conditions:

- Eligibility  and academic requirements

Students: She/he should be a student of Arab International University Finishes the minimum of 80 credit hours for Business and Art students and 100 credit hours for Architecture, Civil Engineering, Pharmacy students and have more than 32 credit hours to graduate by the end of 20171 semester. Students should be of a minimum of level of English proficiency of Level 3 proved by a letter from the English Center of the University or equivalent.

Staff: academic and administrative staff most obtain a document to proof that she/ he is an employee of Arab International University that is allowed a period of 7 days to leave.

The University of Minho will be responsible for receiving and validating all applications submitted within the above mentioned deadline. Afterwards, all applications will be validated and assessed by Arab International University. All applications with a positive assessment will be forwarded for the analysis of potential host Schools/Institutes/Services of UMinho, which may give a positive or negative evaluation to the application. The final selection all candidates will be made by UMinho, where a jury, composed by 3 members will meet and decide the final award of the scholarships/grants, taking into account criteria such as: academic merit, relevance of the work plan, balanced distribution of scholarships between Partner universities, gender balance, among others. The results will be communicated via email and will be published in the portal alunos.uminho.pt.

However, the selection of student will be based on the availability of fields of study at the host university.
