Eng. Rania Al-Haswi

Faculty Member at the College of Architectural Engineering – Arab International University
Lecturer at the College of Architectural Engineering with over sixteen years of academic experience in teaching architectural engineering and urban planning at several Syrian universities.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Planning. She then pursued further studies, earning a Master’s degree in Qualification and Specialization in the Restoration of Historic Buildings and Rehabilitation of Archaeological Sites.

She has held teaching positions at multiple academic institutions, most notably the Arab International University (AIU) in Damascus from 2016 to 2025, where she taught courses in Architectural Design, Presentations, Architectural Construction, Restoration, Building Models, and Landscape. She distinguished herself through her ability to prepare lectures, design fieldwork activities, develop assessment tools, and grade assignments and exams according to the highest academic standards.

She also worked as a lecturer at Tishreen University from 2013 to 2015 and at the University of Aleppo from 2009 to 2013, in addition to teaching at the Intermediate Institute of Engineering in Aleppo during the same period. Her expertise includes teaching Interior Design, Architectural Design, Urban Planning, and Presentations, along with her involvement in extracurricular activities and academic committees.
