Dr. Rayaan Alzoubi
A dentist and academic specialized in Operative Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, and Endodontics, holding a PhD in Operative Dentistry from Damascus University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry, a Postgraduate Diploma, and a Master’s degree in Operative Dentistry from Damascus University. Her research has focused on advanced topics in tooth whitening, dental sensitivity, discoloration, and the impact of various materials on tooth enamel.
She possesses extensive academic, research, and administrative experience, having served as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry and Head of the Department of Restorative and Endodontic Dentistry at the Arab University for Science and Technology (AUST). She is currently a faculty member at the Faculty of Dentistry at the Arab International University (AIU). Additionally, she has participated in teaching and clinical supervision at Damascus University and the University of Kalamoon, as well as contributing to the Syrian Board of Dentistry program.
Her research interests focus on tooth whitening materials, enamel hardness, color stability, dental sensitivity, calcification, and the antimicrobial effects of dental materials. She has published a large number of scientific papers in local and international peer-reviewed journals, along with research currently under review in global journals.
Alongside her academic career, she has obtained two patents in the field of dental instruments and has received prestigious international awards, including the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Gold Medal for Best Female Inventor, and several gold medals and certificates of appreciation from international invention exhibitions in Europe, Kuwait, China, and Syria.
She has long clinical experience in cosmetic dentistry, operative dentistry, and endodontics in Syria and Saudi Arabia, and currently manages specialized dental consultancy clinics. She is also a founding member of the Syrian Society for Intellectual Property and Development.
