Workshop in the Faculty of Architecture entitled: Introduction to the methodologies and tools of research and urban design

Within the scientific and student activities carried out by the Faculty of Architecture, a workshop entitled: "Introduction to the methodology and tools of research and urban design", was held on Sunday and Monday 6-7/1/ 2019 under the supervision of Dr. Lina Osman and Dr. Alaa Abdul Rahman, and the presentation of the researcher, architect Basil Al-Hafar. The workshop included a lecture in the methodologies and tools of scientific research in the field of architecture with focus on transformative research and its importance in the development of the built environment, in addition to the types of design process and the importance of participatory design as a tool to generate concrete interventions with a clear and sustainable impact.

The workshop concluded with a review of the results and important interventions proposed by the students. At the end, certificates of participation were handed to the participating students in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Dr. Mamoun Al-Wara.
