AIU Architecture Exhibition

The Faculty of Architecture, headed by its Dean, Dr. Mamoun Al-Ware'a and his deputies Dr. Shaker al-Tunisi, Dr.  Alaa Abdul Rahman  held on Saturday 21/04/2018 an exhibition of the students' outstanding works, which included most of the courses such as free drawing, design of sites and gardens, urban planning, construction systems, building models, history of architecture, history and theories of modern architecture, modern foundations of art and architecture - Graduation Project Program - Creative Art - 2D and 3D design - architectural design ...etc.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by Professor Tamer El-Hageh, President of the University and his deputies in addition to
a number of guests and students.
The exhibition was distinguished this year by the presentation of the graduation projects, which included the rehabilitation and development of the entrances of North Damascus from the Qabun complex till the Assad suburb node in Harasta along 7 km and the south of the Eighth node on the Southern Highway reaching the node Ashrafieh Sahnaya for 8 km. The number of projects proposed were 48 projects, mostly with administrative and service functions with a limited proportion of housing. This year, the College hopes that the proposed graduation projects, which are located at the center of Damascus' entrances, will serve as a model for future projects, especially the rehabilitation of Damascus main entrances.
Also, the top graduate of the previous year, Moataz Al Khatib, was honored for his results in the national exam.

 At the end, Prof. Dr. President of the university delivered a speech about the university's excellence, its role and its position in research and scientific institutions locally and internationally. 
A certificate of appreciation was given to the graduate student Mohammed Moataz Al Khatib for obtaining the highest score of 76 out of 100 with other two students among 447 students from all public and private universities for March 2018 exam session.
