Speech of the President of the Arab International University Prof. Dr. Tamer Al-Hajjah on the scientific day of the Faculty of Pharmacy and its Accreditation

At the beginning of the opening of the scientific conference of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Tamer El-Hajja delivered a speech welcoming the attendance of academic professors, representatives of some pharmaceutical companies and students. He wished the scientific day activities all success and good luck.
Then he spoke about the questions raised by the graduates of the Faculty of Civil Engineering about the accreditation of the university at the Union of Arab Engineers.
The university president stated that all graduates of the university have all the privileges, rights and duties of the degree of bachelor's degree that they have obtained after finishing the graduation requirements. Their degrees are recognized all over the world, but the practice of the profession is subject to the conditions of the unions in those countries.

We inform you that the University is:

  • Approved and Accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in the Syrian Arab Republic.
  • Member of the Union of Arab Universities.
  • Member of the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance.
  • Member of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
  • Member of the Union of Mediterranean Universities.

It is recognized as a higher education institution by the Council of the Ministry of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany (KMK).
With regard to the Arab countries, we call on the graduates of the faculties of engineering to take the following steps to obtain the identity of Arab Engineers Union, which authorizes the holder to recognize his/her degree as an engineer in all Arab countries:

  • The newly graduated engineer must join a branch of the union in the Syrian Arab Republic.
  • Apply for the identity of the Arab Federation of Engineers' Unions.
  • The Central Union shall send a letter to the Federation of Arab Engineers' Unions, which is a member thereof, to obtain this identity and secures it for the Engineer for a two-year membership.
  • This union identity is recognized and accredited in any Arab country.
