Dr. Yara Adib

Pharmacist and researcher, holding a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Biotherapies from Université Paris Cité, in collaboration with the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM). Her doctoral thesis focused on "Modulating the Innate Immune Response Using Calcium Alginate in Skin Wound Healing." She also earned a Master’s degree in Science, Technology, and Health – specializing in Biochemistry, Cells, and Targeted Therapies – from Université Paris Diderot (Paris 7), and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Damascus University.

During her research tenure at the U976 Unit of Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris, she contributed to multiple advanced laboratory projects. She possesses strong expertise in molecular and cellular biology techniques, including cell culture, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, RT-qPCR, as well as image and data analysis using specialized software.

Her work has been published in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals, such as Mediators of Inflammation, Frontiers in Immunology, and Experimental Dermatology, among others. One of her research papers was awarded Best Article of 2022. She has also presented her findings at prestigious European conferences in dermatology and immunology, including JDP, ECI, ESDR, and CARD.
