Dr. Sahar Alnukari
She is a researcher and academic specializing in Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants, with a scientific career spanning Baath University, Damascus University, and several private universities in Syria. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Baath University, followed by both a Master’s and a PhD in Pharmacognosy and Medicinal Plants from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Damascus University.
She possesses extensive experience in supervising educational laboratories, having served as a supervisor for Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry, and Biology labs at several institutions, including Damascus University, Baath University, and the International University for Science and Technology. Additionally, she has taught courses on Pharmacognosy and the extraction of active ingredients at Al-Hawash Private University, and currently teaches Pharmacognosy 1 and 2 at the Arab International University.
Alongside her teaching expertise, Dr. Sahar has a record of scientific contributions, including research published in peer-reviewed journals on the isoflavone content in soybeans and the anti-lipase activity of Damascus Rose extracts.
