Dr. Mhd Albakok
A lawyer and legal consultant with extensive experience spanning more than fifteen years in the fields of commercial law, banking law, and arbitration. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Damascus, is registered with the Bar Association, and has attained the title of Professor of the Profession.
He pursued his postgraduate studies at the University of Damascus, earning a Master's degree in Commercial Law specializing in Banking Legislation, followed by a PhD for his dissertation entitled "Banking Lawsuits."
He has extensive practical experience in legal work, having handled various types of litigation. He previously worked as a legal consultant at the Syrian International Islamic Bank, where he supervised enforcement files and banking lawsuits, and finalized numerous sale files on behalf of the bank. He has also served as a legal consultant for several companies and appeared in the media on the legal program "Rufi'at Al-Jalsah" (Court is Adjourned) on Syrian satellite television.
On the academic level, he has taught Commercial Law and Banking Legislation at the University of Damascus for many years, and has participated in the supervision and academic examination of master's theses and doctoral dissertations in commercial and banking law. He has several research papers published in Syrian journals and newspapers, addressing topics such as exchange rate risks, security clearances, and errors in Ministerial Decision No. 1915 of 2008 concerning traffic accident compensation.
He has participated in organizing and delivering numerous specialized workshops on legal drafting, commercial arbitration, banking procedures, and contract drafting. He currently works as a full-time lawyer handling thousands of judicial cases in the fields of commercial, civil, and banking law, in addition to working as a lecturer at the University of Damascus and the Arab International University, and serving as a judicial custodian for companies including SAMA GROUP, which specializes in internet services and electronic payment.
