Children are the future architects, clients and users of our buildings. The kinds of architectural worlds they are exposed to in picturebooks during their formative years may be assumed to influence how they regard such architecture as adults. Contemporary urban environments the world over represent the various stages of modernism in architecture. This book reads that history through picturebooks and considers the kinds of national identities and histories they construct. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a prevalent neurodevelopmental disorder affecting both children and adults, characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. This research explores ADHD awareness, prevalence, diagnosis, and treatment preferences within Syrian communities. A survey was conducted to collect data from individuals regarding their awareness of ADHD, its diagnosis, and treatment preferences. Additionally, interviews with specialists provided insights from medical professionals on the diagnosis and management of ADHD.

Asymmetric Cell Division
Cell biologists have recently become aware that the asymmetry of cell division is an important regulatory phenomenon in the fate of a cell. During development, cell diversity originates through asymmetry; in the adult organism asymmetric divisions regulate the stem cell reservoir and are a source of the drift that contributes to the aging of organisms with renewable cell compartments. Because of the concept of semi-conservative DNA synthesis, it was thought that the distribution of DNA between daughter cells was symmetric. The analysis of the phenomenon in cells during mitosis, however, revealed the asymmetry in the distribution of the genetic material that creates the drift contributing to aging of mammals. On the other hand, cancer cells can originate from a deregulation of asymmetry during mitosis in particular during stem cell expansion. The book describes the phenomenon in different organisms from plants to animals and addresses its implications for the development of the organism, cell differentiation, human aging and the biology of cancers.
Assessment of mandibular angle and condyle morphology in a sample of Syrian people
The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of radiographic changes in the mandibu‐ lar angle (bone apposition) and osseous alterations in the temporomandibular joints (TMJs) in a sample of adult Syrian population . In addition, the study intended to investigate possible correlations between the two sites of contour bone changes (mandibular angle and TMJ) and to analyze various patient‐related factors, including sex, age and dental status.

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease that robs the minds of our elderly population.
