Kidney complications & transplantation
Kidney diseases are worldwide public health problems with a high cost and increasing incidence. By revealing the genetic and cellular mechanism behind mammalian kidney development, better diagnostic methods and novel therapies can be expected to be developed. The mammalian kidney is a typical organ that develops on the basis of sequential and reciprocal cell and tissue interactions. Pyelonephritis, Glomerulonephritis, Kidney stones, Nephrotic syndrome, and Acute or chronic kidney failure are the most complications in the kidney kingdom, so that living kidney transplantation has become the preferred treatment for those patients who can’t have the powerful capacity of the kidney function, and here it has a very rejection risk in the first month and we can controlled in this situation with long term immunosuppressant therapy involved in the post-transplantation protocol.

Iterative Learning Control : Robustness and Monotonic Convergence for Interval Systems
This monograph studies the design of robust, monotonically-convergent iterative learning controllers for discrete-time systems. Two key problems with the fundamentals of iterative learning control (ILC) design as treated by existing work are: first, many ILC design strategies assume nominal knowledge of the system to be controlled and; second, it is well-known that many ILC algorithms do not produce monotonic convergence, though in applications monotonic convergence is often essential. Iterative Learning Control takes account of the recently-developed comprehensive approach to robust ILC analysis and design established to handle the situation where the plant model is uncertain. Considering ILC in the iteration domain, it presents a unified analysis and design framework that enables designers to consider both robustness and monotonic convergence for typical uncertainty models, including parametric interval uncertainties, iteration-domain frequency uncertainty, and iteration-domain stochastic uncertainty.
Italian Mathematics Between the Two World Wars
This book describes Italian mathematics in the period between the two World Wars. We analyze its development by focusing on both the interior and the external influences. Italian mathematics in that period was shaped by a colorful array of strong personalities who concentrated their efforts on a select number of fields and won international recognition and respect in an incredibly short time. Italy was also dominated by a fascist regime. This political situation and the social and academic structure of Italian society are included in the analysis as influences external to mathematics itself. The authors have provided a fascinating study of a most difficult time in the history of the world and of mathematics.
Computation and the humanities : Towards an oral history of digital humanities
This book addresses the application of computing to cultural heritage and the discipline of Digital Humanities that formed around it. Digital Humanities research is transforming how the Human record can be transmitted, shaped, understood, questioned and imagined and it has been ongoing for more than 70 years. However, we have no comprehensive histories of its research trajectory or its disciplinary development. The authors make a first contribution towards remedying this by uncovering, documenting, and analysing a number of the social, intellectual and creative processes that helped to shape this research from the 1950s until the present day.

Construction methods and the choice of building materials offer great opportunities for more productive and environmentally friendly solutions. This book includes valuable experimental data on large-scale structural components (beams, slabs, amd columns), connections (shear connections, wall stud connections, beam-column connections, column-column connections) and structures (composite floor system, structural sandwich assemblies, and full-scale structural demonstrations), supported with detailed numerical modelling and analytical methods.
Component Deployment; 3rd International Working Conference, CD 2005, Grenoble, France, November 28-29, 2005, Proceedings
his volume of Lecture Notes in Computer Science contains the proceedings of the rd 3 Working Conference on Component Deployment (CD 2005), which took place 2005 in Grenoble, France, and co-located with Middleware 2005. CD 2005 is the third international conference in the series, the first two being held in Berlin and Edinburgh in 2002 and 2004, respectively. The proceedings of both these conferences were also published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series and may be found in volumes 2370 and 3083. Component deployment addresses the tasks that need to be performed after components have been developed and addresses questions such as: • What do we do with components after they have been built? • How do we deploy them into their execution environment? • How can we evolve them once they have been deployed?
Complicities : A theory for subjectivity in the psychological humanities
The book examines how we might develop a more socially just psychological theory and practice, which is both systems work and intra-psychological work. In bringing together ways of thinking developed in the humanities with clinical psychotherapeutic practice, this book offers one interdisciplinary take on key questions of social and emotional efficacy in action-oriented psychotherapy work.
Complex Artificial Environments : Simulation, Cognition and VR in the Study and Planning of Cities

The emphasis of this volume is on the development of cities and the impact of these methods on urban simulation methods.
Complex and Adaptive Dynamical Systems : A Primer
We are living in an ever more complex world, an epoch where human actions can accordingly acquire far-reaching potentialities. Complex and adaptive dynamical systems are ubiquitous in the world surrounding us and require us to adapt to new realities and the way of dealing with them. This primer has been developed with the aim of conveying a wide range of "commons-sense" knowledge in the field of quantitative complex system science at an introductory level, providing an entry point to this both fascinating and vitally important subject.

Competence of Top Management Teams and Success of New Technology-Based Firms : A Theoretical and Empirical Analysis Concerning Competencies of Entrepreneurial Teams and the Development of Their Ventures
In his book, Jan Brinckmann develops a comprehensive competence concept for new technology-based firms. It is grounded in competence-related literature combining insights from entrepreneurship and management research. The competence concept comprises three domains: general entrepreneurial competencies, social competencies, and functional competencies in technology, marketing, and financial management. A measurement model is developed to specify the contents of each sub-domain and to facilitate self-assessment of these competencies. In an empirical study, 212 executives of German NTBFs assessed their team’s competencies. This data is analyzed using structural equation modelling to identify the most relevant competencies for new venture success.
Compartment Syndrome : A Guide to Diagnosis and Management
Compartment syndrome is a complex physiologic process with significant potential harm, and though an important clinical problem, the basic science and research surrounding this entity remains poorly understood. This book fills the gap in the knowledge of compartment syndrome, re-evaluating the current state of the art on this condition. The current clinical diagnostic criteria are presented, as well as the multiple dilemmas facing the surgeon. Pathophysiology, ischemic thresholds and pressure management techniques and limitations are discussed in detail. The main surgical management strategy, fasciotomy, is then described for both the upper and lower extremities, along with wound care. Compartment syndrome due to patient positioning, in children and polytrauma patients, and unusual presentations are likewise covered. Novel diagnosis and prevention strategies, as well as common misconceptions and legal ramifications stemming from compartment syndrome, round out the presentation.
Comparison of traditional and computerized alveolar block in children using articaine 4% (randomized controlled trial)
Pediatric dental anxiety frequently centers around needle procedures, particularly for mandibular anesthesia. This study compares pain perception, efficacy, and physiological responses between computerized (CCLAD) and traditional syringe administration of articaine 4% for inferior alveolar nerve blocks (IANB) during pulpotomies.
Comparison of digital anesthesia using articaine vs. lidocaine for mandibular infiltration in pediatric patients : Aged 4-5 vs. 6-8 years
Articaine and lidocaine exhibit equivalent efficacy for mandibular infiltration via computerized systems in children aged 4–8 years. While articaine may marginally improve injection comfort, both agents provide reliable anesthesia with minimal complications. Computerized delivery enhances patient experience, supporting its adoption to reduce dental anxiety. This investigation aims to : determine whether articaine's theoretical advantages translate to clinically significant improvements in young children, identify optimal anesthetic protocols for different pediatric age groups, validate the effectiveness of digital delivery systems in pediatric mandibular anesthesia and provide robust data to replace current adult-derived guidelines with pediatric-specific evidence.
